Eisler keynoted the SheEO Summit 2021, a multi-day event led by a “radically generous community supporting women + non-binary people working on the World’s To-Do List.” The session she led, Humanizing our system: economics of Partnerism, took place on the third day of the summit and was a part of the “systems world” section that was aimed at discovering “new approaches to doing business, addressing systems inequities + transforming economies.”
100 Women@Davos
Eisler keynoted the 100 Women @ Davos event, called How to Lead in a Post-Pandemic World. Her speech titled “Partnerism: A New Model for Leadership- Beyond Capitalism and Socialism” kicked off the 2-day online World Economic Forum event that reflected on the future of leadership in our communities impacted by the global pandemic.
In Moms We Trust
Eisler was a featured speaker at the Mother’s Day Amplifying Her Voice: “In Moms We Trust” Summit. Dr. Eisler was a panelist on the Marshall Plans for Moms (&Dads) summit and delivered her opening keynote: “The Real Wealth of Nations”.
The summit, hosted by the State of Women Institute, was a three day virtual event aimed at elevating the voices of women and moms around the world.
Eisler joined founder of Girls Who Code and the Marshall Plan for Moms, Reshma Saujani, and founder of the Empowher Institute, Betty LaMarr, on the Marshall Plans for Moms (&Dads) panel.
All three panelists discussed the way the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted moms, women, and girls. They highlighted the impact that Saujani’s Marshall Plan for Moms has had on launching the conversation of valuing care work into the public sphere. They talk about how black girls have been severely impacted by the pandemic in terms of education, because they had to do the majority of the caretaking.
All panelists emphasized the need to put pressure on companies, governments, and our families in order to make care work be valued, and the need to rebuild caregiving so it works for all.
Dr. Eisler stated how men must be be involved in conversations about care work so that caring work isn’t perceived as a ‘feminine task’. Saujani eloquently stated that a major issue is, “We haven’t created a society where we honor the man who does laundry.”
Planetary Health Annual Meeting Address
Eisler participated in a panel at the 4th Planetary Health Annual Meeting called “Valuing and measuring economic success: what is next?”
The theme of the 4th Planetary Health Annual Meeting was: Planetary health for all: Bridging communities to achieve the Great Transition.
Each day of the meeting was grounded in a diverse theme and objective. Eisler participated in a panel focused on building systemic solutions across economics, governance, and civil society.
4 Cornerstones Passover Sedar
Eisler participated in a special event hosted by Sarah4Hope featuring women leaders who are shaping and defining a world free of domination and patriarchy through the lens of an alternative and experiential Passover seder.
“Framed in the work of Eisler’s Four Cornerstones, viewers experienced the journey through the old patterns that bind us into the new narrative that liberates a society of Partnerism and freedom.
Eisler, Starhawk, Tirzah Firestone, and Rabbi Paula Marcus immersed viewers in four pillars as they each relate to the ritual and meaning of Passover, while the harmonic wisdom of singer/songwriter Aliza Hava moved viewers through melodies and song.
Together we ritualized the transformative power of shifting from a culture of domination to one of Partnerism through Four Cornerstones, framed in a Passover seder.” – Sarah4Hope
